A well-loved Indigenous author was in the Bridge City on Tuesday for a tour of elementary schools and a book signing.
Dr. Jennifer Leason is a recent winner of the Richard Allen Chase Memorial Award, named after a former teacher and librarian from Lethbridge.
“I love to teach children, and I love to celebrate the love and light and the beautiful things that surround us, and that’s, ultimately, what the book is about.”
