Community-Based & Engaged Research
Teaching can be in person, in a convention or event style environment. Here are some galleries of recent research symposiums that I have helped organize and lead.

Indigenous Mentorship
As an educator, I have translated my research and knowledges into university-level academic courses, experiential learning programs, community-based workshops and training programs for professional certification. I can also assist teachers and workshop providers at all levels to integrate data and stories about these topics into their curriculum.
I have supervised graduate students at University of British Columbia, University of Calgary, and Western University. As an Indigenous woman practicing Land Based Arts, I also offer learning programs on the land for Indigenous learners.

IndigeSTEAM
STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics. Our mission is to empower Indigenous youth with the power of choice; in their future jobs and life. We hope to excite them about science subjects in age- and culturally- relevant ways so they stay in school and keep science subjects in their school plans. Science subjects teach critical thinking and problem solving: skills needed to open career doors and make good choices in life.
Student Mentorship

Graduate Students
I mentor graduate students in their course work, through projects in community, and in their applications for grants and awards. I teach graduate students Indigenous and decolonized methodologies in community-based research.
