Hummingbird / Aamo-binashee won the Richard Allen Chase Memorial Award! This award is presented by the Canadian Children’s Book Centre to honour a Canadian children’s title exemplifying Richard’s guiding principles of compassion, kindness, humanity, environmentalism, inclusivity, and connection to the land.
