Dr. Jennifer Leason was one of five recipients of the 2025 Impact Award from the Faculty of Arts at University of Calgary. Arielle Perrotta, a PhD Candidate supervised by Dr. Leason in the Department of Anthropology and Archaeology, was also honoured. Dr. Leason’s research projects engage in Indigenous perspective, evoke indigenous knowledge systems, and spark changes for the betterment and future of Indigenous communities.
